Dear WUSD Families,

We want to inform you of an important update to the 2025-26 school year calendar. The first week of school, from Monday, August 18th to Friday, August 22nd, 2025, will be on a minimum day schedule for all students at all campuses.

Minimum Day Release Times (August 18–22):

Brookside Elementary: 1:10 PM
Blosser Lane Elementary: 1:20 PM
Baechtel Grove Middle School: 1:13 PM
Willits High School: 1:55 PM
Sanhedrin High School: 1:55 PM (regular release time – no change)
Sherwood School: 1:30 PM
This adjusted schedule supports a smooth transition into the new school year and provides additional time for staff to connect with and support students.
