Dear Blosser Lane Families and Friends,

We are off to a great start! This week we enjoyed getting to see many familiar faces and making new friends. Students participated in our fourth annual school community building event – The First Four Days. It was a great way for students from different grades to get to know one another and for students to become familiar with various staff members.
I am very pleased to announce that Blosser Lane will continue to participate in The Morning Mile program. Beginning next Monday, August 26, 2019, before school begins, all students are encouraged to participate in this walk/run program. The great news is that families are invited and encouraged to participate as well. Check out their website at morningmile.com for more information.
Please be aware that next Tuesday, August 27, 2019 will be an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:20 p.m. Additionally, next Tuesday, August 27, 2019 is Back to School Night – it begins in the cafeteria at 6:00 p.m., then continues in the classrooms until 7:00 p.m.
Mark your calendars for some upcoming events:
Back to School Night – Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Polka Dot Day – Friday, August 30, 2019
Picture Day – next Friday, September 6, 2019
Thank you for your time and attention to our Friday Night Notes; have a great weekend.

Dear Blosser Lane Families and Friends,
Welcome to our Friday Night Notes! We are really looking forward to seeing everyone bright and early on Monday morning at 8:00 a.m.! I am confident this year will be a year of growth, learning, friendships, and great memories for each of your children.
During the first week, we will enjoy getting to know one another by participating in our fourth annual school community building event – The First Four Days. It is a great way for students from different grades to get to know one another and for students to become familiar with various staff members.
Please be aware that next Tuesday, August 20, 2019 will not be an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 2:40 p.m. Also, this year Back-to-School Night comes the week after school begins. Thus, please mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 27, 2019.
We are eager to see our students and excited to help with their learning. Thank you for your time and attention to our Friday Night Notes; have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Runberg
